Punkin' Patch

How could it be that one year ago (give or take a few days) we were at the very same Pumpkin patch with Lily for the first time! Check out the blast from the past here. We did go the year before that, just Alex and I but I guess it was not monumental enough to blog about.
This year we decided to get a jump on the crowds and go early in the month. What a difference! Hardly any crowd and tons of pumpkins to choose from. It was a great time and Lily seemed to enjoy it.
Her, "I want this one!!" shot.
Mama does a children of the corn photo.
Getting a free ride around the field. It was a gorgeous sunny day. We still need to wear a hat to shade our eyes from the sun. Pretty soon we will be rockin' our kiddie sunglasses.
How big is Lily? Soooo big!
Ok I changed my mind, I want THIS one!
That was hard work. I need to relax on a bale of hay.
Ooohh this pumpkin is bumpy. Mama named it a witch pumpkin because it as warts all over it like a witches nose!
What sound does a piggy make?
That was a fun time. We still have to carve them but I think we will wait a few weeks and enjoy them first. Lily likes to visit her pumpkins out on the front stoop every day. She squeals every time we go out to see them.

  1. I am so jealous of your pumpkin patch! Ours is a bunch of pumpkins set out on a lawn in front of a bank. Totally random and they obviously don't grow there. Again another reason to leave the Red-Neck Riviera.
