GopGop Peterson came to visit us this week. We actually drove down to Portland to see our peeps there and pick her up. We celebrated Charlie's birthday a week early. Of course I forgot my camera for the trip so you will just have to believe me! It was HOT this weekend and we had a bunch of fun playing with cousins. Once back here in Seattle, we kept cool by doing some back to school shopping. Grandma got Lily a few preschool outfits...oh and a shish!! Lily loves fish and now she has her own. His name is shish. We kiss and hug him all day long!

Hugging (air hug) for shish.
Shish has a turtle to keep him company. Can we just take notice of how long her hair is now!! It is getting out of control and I think a first hair cut is coming soon. I am just sad to see the baby curls go since I don't think they will survive the cut. It is a bit wild though and in her face. Maybe a few more weeks?Who knew that the disney store princess tea set was on the back to school list? It has provided hours of entertainment, and it is great for motor skills. Pouring liquids from one container to another. Who said you can't learn from plastic princess toys?
The many faces of Lil's. I am not biased at all, this is one cute girl!

This is her waking up from nap look. She is not a quick morning (or afternoon) person. She needs to roll around in bed for quite a while snuggling her hoots blanket, hoots bracelet, and her six paci's. They are only allowed for nap and night time so she savors every last minute until we kiss them goodbye and put them up until the next sleep. Of course weary pregnant mom doesn't mind spending a few snuggle minutes in bed with Lil's while we say good bye to our blanket and paci's. When she really doesn't want to get up a promise of reading Horton lays an egg gets her hopping right out of bed. We read it minimum twice daily.
