Since school was out the day after Gem's birthday for Yom Kippur we decided to take a family day to Disneyland. It was a celebration of 3/4 of our Fall birthdays and we haven't been to LA Disneyland in years. Waiting for rope drop was a big crowd. Lily wore her ears from Tokyo and Gem had ears from when she went for Liv's birthday.
We headed straight for the Star Wars land. It is new and we hadn't been there before. We used our fast passes as much as possible to get through the long lines.
The rides were cool and it was really like you were in Star Wars when you walk around the land.
We're not very big star wars fans but it was really cool still.
We really wanted to go on Haunted Mansion while it is decorated for Halloween. It is all decorated like Nightmare before Christmas. It was really cool.Pirates of the Carribbean is always on our top list.
We were able to ride a lot of the rides even though it still felt really crowded. Matterhorn is a classic. So is Pinocchio.
We had to go on plenty of the little kid rides in Fantasy land of course.
We even ran into the Maribel character from Encanto.
While waiting in lines we kept busy taking silly pictures with the Disney filters. We even saw R2D2!!
You can have your picture with BB8 and the millenium falcon.
The girls wanted to try their hand at pulling the sword out of the stone. We weren't magically able to do it though.
Seeing everything all decorated for Halloween is so much fun. I want to come every Fall and Christmas just for the decor.
We caught a glimpse of the parades while we were heading to go on rides. Elsa is still a popular one.
I guess we weren't magical enough to get genie out of the Aladdin lamp.
We stayed as late as our weary selves could manage. Having gotten up at 5am to get there for opening and knowing we had school the next morning I think we left around 9:30PM.
Disneyland never disappoints!!!
