Stitch and Bitch

Kristen has taken up the hobby of sewing after I got back into it a few years ago. She goes to a local quilting shop in her area once a month for an evening of "Stitch and Bitch". So we decided to hold a weekend of our own in Carp over Labor Day weekend.
We brought ALL our supplies and plenty of snacks to keep us nourished.
The whole house was transformed into a sewing factory. We had ironing and cutting in the kitchen. Then both our machines set up at the dining table.
We did make plenty of time for breaks. We generally got dinner from a local place and then took it to the beach for Sunset. You can't be this close to the beach and not go daily.

I made a big stack of flannel burp cloths and wash cloths for two ladies at work that are having baby girls soon. I also made some Japanese Aprons for gifts.
We also prioritized our favorite coffee shop each morning.
We had so much fun we hope to do it again!
