To celebrate the end of a really great regiment season we had the banquet on a Friday night to get everyone back together and reminisce about the whirlwind season. It is always a lot of fun to see everyone after the holidays. They had the popular taco truck cater the event again.
Gemma was bummed she couldn't make it. The banquet was rescheduled due to the LA Palisades and Eaton fires and the night they moved it to Gemma had a birthday party to attend. Lily brought Agnes instead and they all enjoyed the fun with Ellie and Avery.
They give out various awards and there are some funny / silly ones they all vote on. The student leadership group RSL is recognized. It is a big bunch this year.
The truck Dad's always get recognized. This year they even had new T-shirts printed for next season. Alex got "Volun-told" to be one of the Lead Truck Dad's for next season.
The trumpet section was voted as the section with the best attendance. Although it seemed to be pranked by the woodwinds for worst attendance. The prize was a sleeve of oreo cookies.
At the end of the evening we celebrated with dessert and photos.
We're looking forward to next season when Lily will be a Senior and Gemma will join the color guard as a Freshman.
