LYBL Summer Edition

Summer fun activities kicked off with a pool party BBQ at Brooklyn's house. They swam, ate and painted "Bikini Boxes" to store their summer gear.

It was a huge group of girls! There were two boys from school invited plus a couple of little brother's thrown in the mix.

Somehow they all fit in the jacuzzi!

The boxes turned out really cute.

We also hosted Lily's friends for a sleepover and outdoor show with smore's. It's nice to be able to use our backyard now that it's finished.

This was the show we saw at the Anime convention on the Fourth of July.
I'm not sure how well the girls really slept.

Gemma got to spend a couple nights on vacation with Liv's family in Huntington Beach. They stayed at a hotel by the beach and went to a Dodger game!

This was her first Dodger game and Shohei hit a home run! She had all the good snacks!!

Gemma has been enjoying activities with the High School Youth group. She helps out with Wednesday evening VBS and they have fun events like an evening hike and pool parties!

We were so excited to host Charlotte and her friend Anna for a night when they were on a college tour road trip. We were sad it wasn't longer and we didn't have time to go to the beach or do anything fun but we had a great time with S'more's and catching up!
Summer camp at El Camino Pines for a week.

Gemma, Sierra, Lily and Brooklyn.
They were all so glad to be grouped in a cabin together.

There were theme nights for dinner, hikes, bracelet making and outdoor activities.

There were some sleepless nights but in the end they all had a fun time.

Carpinteria Girls Weekend

Our Bi-Annual girls weekend in Carp with Kerri and Liv Summer Edition!!!

We lucked out that the Thursday evening farmers market was happening and we could stroll the street. The flowers they have this time of year are next-level.
We spent a glorious afternoon at the beach! The weather could not have been better.
These girls spent hours in the waves. They swam to the floating platform, boogie boarded in the waves and played volleyball.
We spent some time by the pool for a little "happy hour." Mostly because both the girls are in online summer school and had to do some lessons and we could not get our phone hot spot service to work in the house.
A lot of our activities are centered around "traditions" we have from previous trips. One being a rousing game of "Frozen" theme scrabble.
We also have to get breakfast at Brass Bird Cafe.
We spent another gorgeous day at the beach.

We had to head home and back to reality but not before stopping for a free slurpee on 7-11 day!
